Start with high-trust, low-risk use cases. Build confidence gradually:
- Advisory mode: AI provides recommendations, humans decide and provide feedback
- Assisted mode: AI handles routine cases, escalates edge cases to humans
- Autonomous mode: AI acts independently within defined guardrails
Measuring Trust
Track adoption metrics that matter:
- Usage rate: What percentage of eligible decisions use AI recommendations?
- Override rate: How often do users disagree with AI recommendations?
- Feedback quality: Are users providing useful feedback for model improvement?
